BADEN-POWELL SCOUTS' ASSOCIATION

INTERNATIONAL ROVER MOOT - ROVER QUEST 1995

Tuesday 25th July - Thursday 3rd August 1995 - Bradley Wood, Nr
Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

A gathering for Rover Scouts over 17 years old, and the chance to meet
fellow Rovers from around the world, make new friends, learn new skills 
and enjoy being a Scout. 

Play your part in Scouting history by joining in this 1st International
Rover Moot of the Baden-Powell Scouts' Association. 
 
We have a wide range of on site and off site activities for you to join
in. Bradley Wood is a large, well wooded campsite, centrally located
near to junction 25 of the M62 in Yorkshire. There are camping
facilities, and there is also a possibility of indoor accommodation
being available to Rovers. 

Mon 24th July       Arrival and set up camp 
Tue 25th July       Official opening ceremony & Afternoon Tea reception 
Wed 26th July       Inter Camp Tournament - Day 1 
Thu 27th July       Excursion - Nottingham/Sherwood Forest/Stainsby 
Fri 28th July       Inter Camp Tournament - Day 2 
Sat 29th July       Excursion - York 
Sun 30th July       Religious observances. International Friendship & 
                    Hospitality Day 
Mon 31st July       Excursion - Liverpool 
Tue 1st August      Inter Camp Tournament - Day 3 
Wed 2nd August      Jousting Competition / Jeux Sans Frontieres/ It's a Knockout 
                    Closing Ceremonies and Camp Fire 
Thur 3rd August     Departures & Farewells 
 
Excursions included in the Moot costs are to  1.YORK /2. SHERWOOD FOREST
& NOTTINGHAM/3. 
LIVERPOOL. 
 
In addition there will be a range of optional trips to the English Lake
District, the Settle & Carlisle Railway, Yorkshire Bronte Country, plus
opportunities for swimming, climbing, abseiling, archery, pioneering,
shooting, canoeing etc.etc.
