Newsgroups: rec.scouting From: tuinder@fys.ruu.nl (Olaf Tuinder) Subject: World Jamboree 1995 Programme Info. Summary: Program info Keywords: World Jamboree Date: 25 Mar 94 08:56:04 GMT Zeist, 19940324. Hello Scouts and Scouters, (especially those coming to the 18th World Jamboree in Holland). I have had some requests for more information on the programme of the World Jamboree in Holland in August 1995. I hope you can understand that it is very hard to get a detailed description of all programme-activities that we'll have On-Site and Off-Site during those 10 days. The organisation needed a 'planning-board' of 6 metres to expose ALL separarte units of the organisation. But for those who are hungrily seeking information, I've typed a list of Groups, Teams and (some) Units that are planning an activity. Although the contents of some activities is not always clear to me, it gives an overview of what one can do. A lot of the mentioned activities will be 'ticket-activities'. Which means that you can only do them when you have one of the (limited number of) tickets. Walk-in activities, of course, require no ticket, and are also open for visitors. The theme of the World Jamboree is: "The future is now". (All the comments between brackets are according to my own information and interpretation, which could be out of date, of course.....). The format of the list is: Group-name Team-name (Comments) Unit-name (Comments) ========================================================= ========================================================= A list of Programme Services: (1994/03/21, 8th.Jamb.Circ.)
