ScoutWare 1.0 for Windows is a comprehensive shareware program
for tracking scout troop information.  Includes personal info for
scouts and scouters, point and click advancement and merit badge
tracking, leadership history, and several reports.  Unlimited 
number of records allowed in all database tables (up to maximum 2
gigabytes for entire database).  Requires IBM compatible 386 or 
better, 8 meg RAM, 5 meg space on hard drive, and Windows 3.1 or
higher.

ScoutWare 1.0 is available for download via anonymous FTP from 
ftp.us.net.   The directory is  /pub/scout  and the file name is
scoutw.exe.  This is a self-extracting executable (2.7 megabytes,
so make sure you have a fast modem) containing the ScoutWare 
setup files.  After extracting, run setup from the program 
manager as you would for any other Windows program.

The FTP site is busiest from 5 p.m to 1 a.m., so you'll have 
better luck connecting at other times.
